A handbook for French Roman Catholics, first edition 1898, this copy from 1925,
containing the rules of life; piety exercises for every day, week and month;
instructions for these different exercises; a reflection for each day of the year;
Arch-brotherhood of Notre Dame of the Perpetual Relief and of the Eucharistic Court of Jesus.
For instance; the fifteen articles for the rules of life start with every day practice; and the first article tells you:
‘When you get up in the morning, make the cross sign and then say your morning prayer’.
These rules are followed by daily and frequent practices (200 pages);
the Main Devotions of the Christian who wants to save his Soul (84 pages),
the Christian Spirit (50 pages) and finally a Christian thought for every Day.

It is in excellent condition for its age. There is slight wear to the cover corners and one of the pages has been dog eared.
The Original page marking ribbon is very delicate and faded where it was exposed at the end.
The gold edges to the pages are not overly worn.
