This Fantastic Vintage French Chemist Bottle is a rare find.
It comes from an old Pharmacie (pharmacy) that was in business up until the end of the 1940's.
The label gives the following information:
"PHARMACIE NOUVELLE
Jean Mausset
Pharmacien de (not sure what this says here) Classe
de la Faculte de Paris
14, Rue de la Révolution
ST. LEONARD DE NOBLAT (Hte Vienne)"
Contents: "Iodure de Potassium"
NOT FOR USE! ONLY REMNANTS OF ORDINANCE CONTENTS IN BOTTLE, DUE TO INABILITY TO OPEN!
It is perfect for display.
The bottom of the bottle is marked:
VB (I think!)

This is old, however, is in excellent condition.
Any discolouration, scratches, wear or marks are due to age, use, and storage, but add a lot of charm.
Made in France.
